We promise to deliver industry-leading sales & leadership training – the best training we can fit into our program with the goal of creating an effective and capable media sales professional. 

We promise to put all our efforts into getting you employed – a position with an inclusive media company upon successful completion of the training program. 

We promise to stay with you through ongoing mentoring and support –  ensuring your new position aligns with your personal values and Colorfyl’s standard of equitable inclusion.

You promise to bring your A-game and commit to the training program – because this is only successful if you’re serious about it.

You promise to attend at least one live Zoom call per week– these are both a point of personal contact between you and us, and a way to connect with your fellow classmates.

You promise to give back by being part of the Colorfyl community – in any number of ways, such as attending alumni zoom calls, hosting occasional office-hours and participating in our inclusive online community.

The average time commitment is 8-10 hours a week for approximately 4 weeks. While you may study at your own pace during the week, assignments and quizzes will be due at the end of each week. Additionally there will be at least one Zoom call each week at which your attendance is required.

We understand that you will have to balance current employment, school, family or other life events, but to be a part of this program you’ll need to carve out the time – we believe this amazing opportunity it worth it.

It pays well
Media sales is a commission-based profession with a decent base salary. The levels of commission vary, but as you build your clientele, that number goes up and most media sales managers make a very comfortable living.

Sales skills are life skills
Learning sales is learning effective communication – the ability to listen carefully, understand meanings and succinctly present ideas. Learning how to sell gives you skills that are transferrable into any profession.

Ample opportunity for advancement
Good sales people with leadership skills are in need everywhere, and working with media companies gives you the firm foundation on which to build a strong, rewarding career.
